What we
hold.

You are trusting us with details about a supervision requirement. This page says exactly what we take, who else touches it, and when it goes away. No defined terms, no cross-references.

We do not sell anything, run ads, or track you. There is no analytics on this site.

Clockwork is a service of CCLM Supply, which is who holds the data described below and who you contact to see it or have it deleted.

What we collect  ·  when you ask about a line

If we do not call your line yet, you can tell us about it. That takes your first name, your mobile number, the number of the line you call, and your state. Nothing else, and no check-in ID — we do not ask for one until a line is ready and you have decided to sign up. It is stored by us, on Cloudflare, and used for two things: deciding which line to add next, and texting you if we add yours.

What we collect  ·  when you enrol

Your check-in ID, your mobile number, and your timezone. That is the whole list. We do not ask for your date of birth, your address, your case number, your officer, or anything about why you are being tested.

What we collect  ·  every morning

A recording of the call we place to your line, a written transcript of what that line said, the answer we worked out from it, and the times we called and texted you. The recording is of the testing line’s automated message. It does not record you.

Your check-in ID

The one thing we are
most careful with.

How it is stored

Encrypted, with the key kept somewhere else.

It is encrypted with AES-GCM using a 256-bit key. That key is not in the database. Someone who obtained a copy of the database would not be able to read a single ID out of it.

Being straight with you

It can be decrypted, because it has to be.

A password can be stored so that nobody can ever read it back. Your check-in ID cannot, because the whole service depends on keying it into a phone every morning. Anyone who tells you otherwise is describing something that could not work.

It is never shown back

Your ID does not appear in your daily text, on any screen you can reach, in any report, or in any email we send. We will never ask you to send it to us in a message. If something claiming to be Clockwork asks you to reply with your ID, it is not us.

Who else can see any of this

Four companies,
and no one else.

Twilio

Places the phone calls and sends your texts. Twilio holds the call recordings on their systems and knows the number we call and the number we text.

Cloudflare

Runs the service, stores the database, and transcribes the recordings into text.

Google Fonts

These pages load their typefaces from Google, which means Google can see the IP address of anyone who visits this website. Most sites do this and most privacy pages do not mention it.

Stripe

Handles card and bank details when you pay. Those details go to Stripe directly. We do not receive them, store them, or see a full card number. Your payment appears as CCLM Supply, which is the company behind Clockwork.

Who never hears from us

Your provider, your officer, your court.

We do not contact them, register with them, report to them, or tell them you use this. The only footprint Clockwork leaves is a phone call to the check-in line, the same call you would have made yourself.

How long we keep it

Not forever.

Your check-in ID

Kept while your subscription is active. Deleted when your last paid day passes.

Recordings and transcripts

Deleted 30 days after your last paid day. We keep them that long only so that a question about what a line actually said can still be answered.

If you never enrol

If you asked for access and we never took you on, tell us and we will delete what you sent.

What you can ask for

Email support@useclockwork.com and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Deleting your check-in ID ends the service, because without it there is no way to make the call.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say so on this page and date it. We will not quietly broaden it.
